As of July 18, Russian agrarians harvested grains and pulses throughout the
areas of 9.5 mln ha in 2018 — 8.5 mln ha. The production volumes reached 35.2
mln tonnes of grains in 2018 — 31.4 mln tonnes, with the average yield of 3.69
t/ha in 2018 — 3.69 t/ha, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian
Federation.In particular, agrarians harvested 30.8 mln tonnes of wheat
throughout 8.2 mln ha, with the yield of 3.75 t/ha. Also, Russia harvested 3.5
mln tonnes of barley throughout 926.7 thsd ha, with the yield of 3.72
t/ha.Agrarians still continued harvesting winter rapeseed, and as of July 18 the
areas reached 67 thsd ha. The production volumes reached 141 thsd tonnes, with
the yield of 2.1 t/ha.
