According to the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of Economy of Kazakhstan, the crop area of crops (preliminary) in 2018 was 22.0 million hectares. 15.1 million hectares, or 68.8%, were sown from the entire sowing area with grain (including rice) and bean crops, IA Kazakh-Zerno reports. The main part of cereals (including rice) and bean crops is in the Akmola region - 4.3 million hectares (28.5%), Kostanay - 4.1 million hectares (26.8%), North Kazakhstan - 2.8 million hectares (18.5%).
