According to the operative data of the administrative bodies of the agro-industrial complex of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, as of August 20, 2018, cereals and leguminous crops were threshed from an area of 23.3 million hectares or 50.2% of the sown area (in 2017, 18.4 million hectares). 71.6 million tons of grain were harvested (in 2017 - 72.5 million tons), with a yield of 30.7 centners per hectare, which is 8.8 centners per hectare less than on the same date last year (in 2017). - 39.4 c / ha).
